Our long term goal is to design and create products of the highest quality while having as little impact on the environment as possible. We are continually developing long lasting relationships with local makers to help support our local economy while building a more sustainable supply chain.

Production

Alessandra Vallance is proudly accredited with Ethical Clothing Australia. Our garments are produced locally here in Melbourne by a family-run, ethically accredited factory, allowing us to grow ethically and sustainably while producing an incredibly high quality product – with the bonus of supporting Australia’s growing onshore textile industry.

All our offcuts are bagged, repurposed and donated to other businesses and manufacturers, and all silk styles have an average of 85-90% efficiency on lay and cut with minimal fabric waste.

Packaging

All our packaging is made here in Australia.

Our postal satchels are compostable and biodegradable, and our packaging boxes are 100% recycled to reduce waste consumption.
